Taylor Swift has again made history. The history-making artist has broken previous records. She became the first-ever artist to take the top 10 slots on Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US. She surpassed hip-hop artist and rapper Drake who was holding the record of nine singles in the Top 10 back in September 2021.
Taylor Swift is now tied with Ariana Grande for most songs by women to hold the top spot on the Hot 100 chart. She has surpassed Madonna, claiming 40 top-10 hit tracks whereas Madonna has 38.
Her new album ‘Midnights’ was released on October 21 with 20 tracks. Within a short time of its release, Midnights became the most-streamed album in a single day on Spotify breaking all previous records.
Midnights is the only album to hold all 10 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It has become the best-selling album of the year 2022 by selling more than 1 million copies in the US in just 3 days.
